Wonderful wild flowers enjoyed on workshop

Rain didn’t stop play for participants on the TV Wild Green Places Wildflower Workshop on Saturday 20th June. The workshop was all about getting familiar with the characteristics of the main families of wildflowers and getting to grips with the botanical terms used in field guides. It sounds heavy stuff but we had plenty of fun and we finished off the afternoon with a game of our botanical version of Family Fortunes.

We are repeating the workshop on Wednesday 29th July at Margrove Park Heritage Centre, and there are still a few places left. If you would like to attend, contact us for a booking form.

Thank you to the Wild Flower Society for their funding contribution to this course.
