Caring for urban meadows in the long term

With the loss of meadows in the countryside, creating and caring for urban meadows has become very popular. For them to make a long term contribution to biodiversity, sustainable management is required. During this practical workshop three different meadows in Middlesbrough will be visited by  minibus to explore how this can be achieved.

How to book

These workshops are free to volunteers and members of wildlife groups and friends of parks and open spaces groups in the Tees Valley. We recommend booking early to avoid disappointment. To book or for more information contact Sue Antrobus or Paul Bamber at the Tees Valley  Wildlife Trust on 01287 636382 or email santrobus@teeswildlife.org. All of the venues are on public transport routes. If you have difficulties getting there, or wish to offer a car share do get in touch.
