Workshop – Volunteers-how to get them and how to keep them

Does your Friends group need more volunteers for its park green place?  Recruiting and retaining volunteers is a challenge for us all and there are no quick fix solutions.

During this informal workshop we will share ideas and tips on: how to inspire people to join you and keep them motivated, making volunteering more accessible and how to tap into volunteering match organisations and campaigns. You will come away with the basis of a practical volunteer strategy tailored to your group.

How to book

These workshops are free to volunteers and members of  wildlife groups and friends of parks and open spaces groups in the Tees Valley. We recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.   To book or for more information contact Sue Antrobus or Paul Bamber at the Tees Valley  Wildlife Trust on 01287 636382 or email All of the venues are on public transport routes.
