About Roseworth Green Spaces
Roseworth in West Stockton has extensive areas of open green spaces on the estate. Most of these are mown grassland. The most attractive landscape is the small section of beck that runs between Rhonda Avenue and Hornbeam Walk. This is flanked by bank side vegetation and some mature deciduous trees. The linear green space alongside Rochester Road is being developed with outdoor play and sports facilities for teenagers, and has recently been improved by the planting of an avenue of trees along the roadside.
Community Involvement
The TV Wild Green Places Project is working closely with Stockton Borough Council and has joined the Roseworth Community Partnership to work with local residents on wildlife activities and projects. Key partners to date are the Roseworth Big Local, Eastern Ravens, Tristar Homes and Tees Achieve. It you would like to get involved in our wildlife projects at Roseworth please contact the Wild Place team.
