Tilery Park

About Tilery Park

This is a large area of public open space in the St Ann’s district of Stockton, adjacent to Lustrum Beck The site is mainly amenity grassland, with grassy meadows, scrub and young woodland copses. There are three football pitches laid out and an area for running which is used by the sports group “The Stockton Whippets.” There are surfaced footpaths across the site and a relatively recent bandstand.

Community Involvement

The Tees Valley Wild Green Places Project have started working with local people to help improve the site for wildlife. North Shore Academy are key partners. The Cleveland Naturalists are surveying the site for wildlife to help inform conservation activities. If you want to get involved contact the TV Wild Green Places team.
